Mr. David Minning
David has joined Bio-Chem Fluidics, Inc., a leading manufacturer of a broad line of inert fluid handling components for the analytical, clinical diagnostics and medical device markets. In his role as CEO, David will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company, in collaboration with the Board, building a high-performance culture, identifying digitization and innovation opportunities, and evolving the business strategy to accelerate growth.
David’s 30 years of experience spans across industrial and medical markets for both B2B and B2C companies. This includes senior roles in Global Marketing, Innovation, Business Development, Finance and General Management at Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc., a global manufacturer and distributor of medical equipment. David comes to us from FXI, Inc., a manufacturer of polyurethane foam products where he spent seven years in various general manager roles and most recently as Chief Commercial Officer.
David is a graduate of Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Finance. He also holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati, Carl H. Linder School of Business.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Vinnie Favia
Vinnie joined Bio-Chem as the Vice President, Finance IT and HR in November 2014. Prior to joining Bio-Chem, Vinnie was the Corporate Controller at Inrad Optics, a publicly traded manufacturer of custom crystalline and metallic optics from 2009 to 2014. From 1999 to 2009, he was the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and part owner of Signature Badges and Accessories, a private manufacturer of custom metal badges for police, fire, EMS and security personnel. Prior to that he was Chief Accounting Officer for Compass International Services Corp. from 1998 to 1999 and Corporate Controller for The Union Corporation from 1991 to 1998, both companies were publicly traded companies that provided outsourcing business services. Vinnie began his career with Ernst & Young, a global leader in audit, tax and advisory services, from 1984 to 1991. He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Pace University.
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mr. David Metrena
David joined Bio-Chem in 2019. He brings over 20 years of lab and OEM experience to Bio-Chem. Most recently, he was the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics North American business. He developed a new market segment and the team he led over-delivered against their commitments. David has built organizations and teams with the right capabilities to deliver on the short-term and long-term strategic objectives of the business. His experiences will provide us with insights and opportunities on how we can further grow Bio-Chem. Prior to Siemens, David held leadership sales and marketing roles for several lab device development and distribution companies. David received his Bachelor’s in Medical Technology from College Misericordia and completed his MBA in Marketing and Finance from Western Connecticut State University.
Vice President, Operations
Ms. Linsey Holden-Downes
Linsey joined Halma through the Halma Graduate Development Programme in April 2013, and completed rotations at Palintest, Apollo, Texecom, and Cosasco. Following the programme, Ms. Holden-Downes joined Diba Industries as Production Manager at their Cambridge, UK facility before eventually being promoted to Plant Manager, managing all the activities of the UK business. Ms. Holden-Downes left Halma briefly to work at Amazon where she had responsibility for all inbound and outbound operations within the UK-EU Fulfillment Centre. She rejoined Halma in August 2017 as Director of Operations at Bio-Chem before being promoted to Vice President. Ms. Holden-Downes has a Master of Chemistry from Newcastle University and a Diploma in Law from Northumbria University.
Vice President, Digital Product Management
Mr. Morgan Amsler
Morgan started at Halma in 2012 as part of the Halma Future Leaders program and joined Accutome in 2014 as New Product Development Manager. He became the Director of Innovation, Medical Sector in 2016 and joined Microsurgical Technology (another Halma company) as the Director of Business Development in 2018 where he identified partnerships and acquisition targets to accelerate growth for the company’s surgical and digital health strategies.
Morgan received his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee and is currently attending Columbia Business School in New York City working towards his Master of Business Administration with anticipated graduation in May 2020. He spends his free time as a New York City Sightseeing guide and a judge for the Collegiate Inventors Competition. Morgan also enjoys mixing and producing music.
